Newsletters, invoices, and automated alerts pile up fast — and they bury the emails that actually need a response. Layers use AI to triage that noise out of your main inbox without losing access. Here's how to set up your first Layer in under a minute.

Open Settings → Layers

Head to Settings and find the Layers panel. Pick a template like Newsletters, Invoices, Calendar invites, or Automated alerts — or write your own custom AI prompt to catch anything specific (e.g., 'Catch any email about pricing pushback or contract negotiations').

Watch your inbox auto-organize

Topiq's AI reads incoming emails and routes them into the layer you created. Newsletters, receipts, and alerts get pulled out of your main inbox — but stay one click away when you need them.

Manage layers from the toolbar

Click the top-right button on any layer to push it into Focus, pin it to your toolbar for quick access, or stop monitoring it entirely. Pinned layers show their unread count right at the top of your inbox.
